The Box

Details

The Box was requested to design a retail within restaurant for local delicacies in a contemporary setting. Local architectural material (rattan, off sawn timber; songket; oil lamp) was chosen as the main design theme. The seating arrangement was position to be infused with retail merchandising to encourage sales of products and educate patrons about local products. Creative lighting was used to create silhouette of weaved rattan to simulate Kampong Houses atmosphere.
